La Banista
Permanently installed in Puertecitos Hot Springs, Baja California, Mexico 2018

La Banista sculpture welcomes visitors and locals to the Puertecitos Hot Springs Baths. The hot springs were created in the 1950’s by Rafael Orozco, the founding father of Puertecitos, for the use of the general public. To this day the hot springs are a major attraction for locals and visitors to Baja California. The sculpture depicts a bather dressing up after a soak atop a marble and glass tile pedestal.
