The concept for the “Airborne” sculpture is to demonstrate the grace of flight, balance and beauty as depicted in the pelican taking off from a pier post. This piece was originally installed in Downtown Vista, CA but was moved permanently to Puertecitos, Baja California, Mexico in 2017. Birds are magnificent creatures, and the pelican is the heavyweight of a combination of all magnificent aspects related to flight!
